The Local Exams pane provides a tabular view on the contents of the local exams database. Every row represents an exam and it is possible to drill-down into the series and images of an exam. The table supports:
- sorting on individual columns by clicking on the column headers.
- filtering on column values by using the drop-down comboxes to select filter values.
- Adding or removing columns.
Columns in general correspond to a particular DICOM attribute stored in the metadata of the DICOM images.
Adding and removing Columns
Columns can be removed or added to the table by right-clicking on the table header. When selecting 'Add Column' a column selection dialog is displayed that allows one to specify:
- The level on which the new column should be displayed: STUDY,SERIES or IMAGE
- The corresponding DICOM attribute. Public DICOM attributes can be browsed and selected with the 'Select' button.
When new columns are added to the table, it may be necessary to reIndex the local database so that values from the DICOM attributes corresponding to the new columns are retrieved out of the images and are made available to the Local Exams pane.

The Export button will allow one to save the entire contents of the local exams in a XLS format.
